Stableton Unicorn Index AMC Update - February 2024

We are excited to share the February edition of the Stableton Unicorn Index Investor Update, where we provide a monthly update on performance, portfolio components, company insight, and relevant industry developments.

Let's kick this update off with some positive news: Morningstar improved the construction of the Morningstar PitchBook Unicorn Select 20 Index with additional liquidity criteria as part of the rulebook. To be selected as new constituents, companies must meet some minimum liquidity criteria, such as the traded volume of secondary shares and secondary market price information. As a result, several new exciting and leading technology companies will enter the index and replace some of the former less liquid holdings, thereby significantly improving our product's liquidity and ability to replicate the index in its entirety. As a sneak preview, with the next rebalancing at the end of the quarter, the following companies will join the index: Airtable, Brex, Deel, Kraken, Ripple and Rippling. • Epic Games and Disney have collaborated to create a new "games and entertainment universe", leveraging Epic's Fortnite platform and Disney's extensive character catalog. Disney will invest $1.5 billion in Epic Games, valuing it at $22.5 billion, 60% more than our average entry valuation of $14 billion.

• Revolut joined forces with MetaMask, the most widely used self-custodial wallets. It enables its users to trade crypto via the MetaMask platform with their Revolut account. 

• Stripe's valuation has increased to $65 billion in a recent stock-sale deal designed to allow employees to sell their shares, signaling a potential delay in the company's anticipated IPO.
