Bank CIC (Switzerland) AG announced that it is strengthening its cooperation with Stableton Financial AG, a leading European fintech platform for alternative investments. The Bank continues its endeavors to offer its clients access to exceptional and first-class investment opportunities via competent and innovative partners.

In its press release, the Bank states that, over the course of 2022, it intends to build a range of themed baskets investing in pre-IPO securities. Stableton will act as a key sourcing and structuring partner, leveraging its extensive network of contacts in the private markets industry and its own sourcing processes.

Accessing Themed Pre-IPO Baskets With Significant Potential

Bank CIC explains that this will enable their clients to invest in exciting companies at preferential rates. Pre-IPO securities are securities of companies that are about to go public. Bank CIC’s themed baskets give investors access to companies, often with significant potential and moderate risk, from lower amounts.

“In the past, access to the innovators of tomorrow required close access to venture capital funds, if you were accepted as an investor at all,” explains Andreas Bezner, co-founder and CEO of Stableton. “This also involved high investment minimums, cumbersome paperwork, sparse information and long holding periods. We are very proud that Bank CIC has chosen us as their partner to enable their clients to access these trades through a simple Swiss ISIN.”

In Bank CIC’s press release, Mario Geniale, CIO of Bank CIC, is quoted as saying: “We are convinced that private equity and private debt transactions represent an indispensable satellite allocation in today’s market environment. They represent high return opportunities and diversification to traditional asset classes. We are delighted to have Stableton, a proven expert, as a partner for our offering.”

Bank CIC was an early investor and is now the largest stakeholder in a diversified portfolio of Stableton’s pre-IPO investments. According to the Bank’s press release, in 2021, this portfolio achieved a performance of more than 40%. It is part of several programs that allow the Bank’s clients to participate in the success of some of the world’s fastest-growing companies, such as Upgrade, Revolut or Eat Just.

In the past, accessing the opportunities such those enjoyed by Bank CIC’s clients meant seeking early access through venture capital funds (which, once well-established, might not even be interested in your commitment). In addition, it involved high investment minimums, cumbersome paperwork, scarce information (often not even knowing what you will be investing in), and long holding periods.

Today, there is an alternative. Accessing promising businesses via late-stage and pre-IPO investments is increasingly popular. For one, investors know the name of the company they are investing in. Secondly, the product-market fit has already been established, and the path to profitability is clear.

To hop on an investment at this stage means a lot of upside potential, while the risk level stays relatively moderate.

Stableton is Switzerland’s leading provider for access to late-stage venture capital & pre-IPO Investments to smaller qualified investors. Our mission is to help investors get access to the otherwise secluded private investment market. With a minimum of CHF 10’000, this type of investing should be considered as part of a portfolio.
